Advanced Blemish Removal

What is Advanced Electrolysis?

Advanced Blemish Removal, also known as Advanced Electrolysis, is a non-surgical blemish removal or thermo-coagulation and is a very sought after procedure.

The treatment uses electrical currents to safely remove telangiectasia (thread veins), skin tags, keratosis, spider naevi, hair in moles and milia.

What areas can you treat with Advanced Electrolysis?

Milia

Milia are commonly found in areas of dry skin where normal secretions are unable to find their way to the skins surface. If they are located on areas on the skin that are not dry it may be caused by poor product usage.

Facial Thread Veins

Telangiectasia appears as red or pink dilated capillary blood vessels, usually smaller than 0.2mm in diameter, that are visible as lacework or branch like pattern in the epidermis.

There a number of causes of thread veins including ageing, hereditary, pregnancy, smoking, temperature extremes, harsh weather exposure, hormones, dry skin and skin fragility.

Cherry Angiomas (Blood Spots)

Blood spots are bright red vascular blemishes which lie just under the surface of the skin. They may be found on any part of the body or more commonly mid-torso.

Treatment is very successful and is usually treated in one session.

Skin Tags

Skin tags are harmless and benign skin growths that are commonly found on the neck, under the bra area and in the groin.

They often start appearing with age. Friction is another contributing as they appear in the areas where clothes may rub.

Treatment is very quick and easy and very successful.

Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrheic keratosis are very common, harmless, usually pigmented, skin growths. They are benign growths caused by a build up of keratinocyte cells.

They have a rough surface and can range in colour from light to dark brown to almost black.

Treatment with electrical currents can be very successful, although darker skin tones should be treated with caution as removal may result in hyperpigmentation.
