Electrolysis

What is Electrolysis?

Electrical Epilation is a treatment used to permanently remove unwanted or excessive hair growth.

A fine needle is used to deliver an electrical current into the hair follicle to destroy the hair root.

This eventually destroys the hair follicle tissue from where the hair is created preventing the hair from regrowing.

The treatment is usually carried out for cosmetic reasons or to remove hair growth resulting from certain medical conditions. It has psychological benefits as clients are often distressed by hair growth and it greatly improves self-confidence and self-esteem.

Clients may also have electrical epilation for ingrown hairs.
